New York Psychotherapy and Counseling Center

For more than 35 years, NYPCC has partnered with the NY State Department of Health to provide mental health services at some of its licensed adult homes - where individuals with serious and persistent mental illness live in a social setting, and are provided with the basic life sustaining services to enable them to take the step from inpatient treatment to independent living.

Through the use of evidence-based practices, NYPCC’s staff of mental health professionals enable these adults to gain insight into their mental illness, manage their symptoms, and acquire the skills necessary to re-enter the community and live and work in a more independent setting.
